End of School Year Email & MBHS Senior Panel Video Links

Happy Summer!!!
Thank you to everyone that made this year such a success!  I know we are all ready for some down time for the summer but we wanted to make you aware of several activities taking place that are very important to our community.
For those of you who were unable to attend the final Mission Bay Cluster meeting last week, we have attached the video link of the MBHS Senior Panel discussion. It is funny, insightful, moving and inspiring. Check out the 2-part video when you get the chance! Please share these links with other PB school parents and prospective parents for a great snapshot of life at MBHS.

Community Town Hall Eco District Meeting
ENVISION. CREATE. SUSTAIN.
Join us to discover the possibilities of an Eco District in Pacific/Mission Beach
and Mission Bay Park
Saturday, June 29 10:00am-Noon
Mission Bay High School
Civic organizations from across the beach communities will share their future visions of a healthy, sustainable, successful Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Mission Bay Park.  Principal Fred Hilgers and Mission Bay High School have donated both their auditorium and gymnasium for the event. There will be a presentation and "break out" session. Please come and participate! You will hear the extraordinary collective set of ideas and plans uniting all groups with the vision of strengthening our beautiful beach communities. Following the event, the MBHS Seaside Farmers Market will be hosting the community for food, local farm and product shopping as well as some special features. The Mission Bay Cluster is excited to join this visionary process and looks forward to supporting the efforts towards a sustainable, stronger, healthier community.
And, as always, MBHS Seaside Farmer's Market is open every Saturday from 10am -2pm.
My kids and I look forward to the market every week and always leave with an arm full of goodies.  Remember, 100% of the proceeds go right to MBHS!  Please come out and support the businesses that are supporting our community.
I wish you a wonderful summer break and we will see you back in the Fall!
Regards,
